Individual Therapy

I provide therapy for individuals in the Greensboro area. Although my main focus is in-person sessions, I also offer online sessions for those who need more flexibility. Telehealth sessions can take place anywhere in North Carolina.

Individual Counseling

My office is a private space where you are free to be yourself. I listen deeply to you so that you can address your needs. I am in your corner, and we work together. I will point out patterns, help you see other perspectives as you are ready, and provide tools to remove barriers to positive change. We go at your pace, and I adapt my approach to best support you.

  • My approach is insight oriented—I help you gain a deeper understanding of yourself. I am warm and nurturing, but I am also direct when you need me to be. I have both a creative and research background, and I have found that mix to be helpful in the therapy space. I do not use the same approach for everyone. My aim is for us to get to the deeper layers that support sustainable change, and to do that, I am highly adaptive. I pay attention to what works for you and what does not, including checking in with you. I use a holistic approach, and I draw on a variety of interventions, such as cognitive, somatic, narrative, and experiential. Together, we will find the techniques that work best for you.

  • I focus primarily on helping clients with anxiety—including concerns often linked to anxiety, such as ADHD—life transitions, trauma, complex family dynamics, and the impact of early life experiences.

  • We work on helping you live the life you want and finding your inner balance. To do that, we strive to remove the concerns that block your path. That may mean addressing thought patterns that are not serving you, but you find difficult to stop. We will explore strategies to change those patterns that trigger or maintain anxiety. If you are ready to address past trauma, I will help you untangle the memories in a way that strengthens your sense of agency and self-understanding. If you are navigating situational challenges, I will support you as you consider your options, including helping you see different perspectives that foster clarity.
