I am an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance companies directly. Some insurance companies may reimburse a portion of the therapy fees for out-of-network services. The full session fee is due at the time of service. Accepted forms of payment include credit cards, debit cards, and select electronic payment methods. If requested, I can provide a superbill (itemized receipt) that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

During our first session, we will get to know each other and talk about your goals for therapy. The intake session is longer so that we have enough time to develop an overview of your relationship for couples counseling or your life for individual counseling. Since different parts of life are interconnected, we will likely touch on a variety of topics. This helps me tailor the counseling to you and best support your goals.

If you feel ready to learn more, I am very happy to talk with you. The first step is to reach out to me and schedule a brief, free consultation. I will answer any questions you may have so that we can see if my services are a good fit for you. We can then schedule a session and get started.

Yes. Although my practice primarily takes place in-person in Greensboro, I also offer virtual counseling sessions for clients located anywhere in North Carolina.

It is very common for a partner to be hesitant about couples counseling. If that is your situation, we have options. Your partner may be open to attending one session to see what counseling is like and if it could help. Even if your partner is not willing to engage in counseling, you and I can work together individually. I can support you and provide tools to help you improve communication and the dynamics in your relationship.
